Afternoon Tea

At Claridge's we've been observing this delightful aspect of our nation's culinary heritage for the best part of 150 years. For a century or more, our Executive Chefs have remained faithful to the classic combination of finger sandwiches, scones served warm, and sweet pastries. Our ingredients are painstakingly sourced, skilfully prepared and served fresh each day. The centerpiece of afternoon tea is, of course, the drink itself. Our wonderful tea connoisseur, Henrietta Lovell, has scoured the world to bring us delicious tea from small, little known producers from the four corners of the world. Working hand in hand with our Executive Chef, Martyn Nail, they have carefully selected teas that will complement your food perfectly. Set in the splendour of Thierry Despont's magnificent Foyer, inspired by the 1930s' heyday of art deco, Afternoon Tea at Claridge's is truly a magical experience.

Ballroom

Recently fully restored by leading interiors guru Guy Oliver, the Ballroom, and neighbouring Mirror Room, have been designed to echo the original décor first introduced to the hotel by Oswald Milne and Basil Ionides in the late 1920s. Using colours reminiscent of that era, eau de Nil, sable, chocolate, olive and silver, the subtle detailing extends to platinum leaf covered pillars, hand-engraved mirrors and contemporary Art Deco fan design carpet.

Bar

Claridge's Bar is a destination in its own right, an intimate space where champagne flows and cocktails are crafted to perfection. Designed by David Collins Studio, the art deco-inspired interior provides a sophisticated backdrop for an extensive collection of drinks, from rare champagnes to the finest spirits. Whether savouring a vintage pour or a perfectly balanced cocktail, allow our bartenders to guide you through a menu of timeless classics and innovative creations.

Bar and Restaurant

Hidden within Claridge's art deco embrace, The Fumoir has been a discreet haven for those in the know since 1929. Whether for a pre-theatre drink or late-night indulgence, The Fumoir invites you to settle in, savour the moment, and experience a slice of enduring sophistication. By day, enjoy the perfect cappuccino and Claridge's fried chicken; by night, sip a signature Fumoir Negroni or an ice-cold vodka martini.

Boardroom Meeting Space

With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Brook Street, this space offers an elegant setting for board meetings and private dinners for up to 16 guests. It includes a private reception and cloakroom area, is flooded with natural daylight, and boasts stunning views over Brook Street.

Café

Open daily with a focus on breakfast and lunch, the Café offers a vibrant menu with crêpes as a signature, alongside bagels, bespoke galettes, salads that shift with the seasons, croque monsieurs and madames, mega madeleines, and Claridge's cakes galore. Designed by renowned British architectural designer John Pawson, the Café features a gallery-like patisserie counter, marble communal table as a central spot, and entry down to Perrotin London, a gallery which rotates exhibitions - free for all to view.

Breathe in the heady aromas from our incense, hand-crafted herbal poultices and custom fragrance, with grounding notes of cinnamon, cedarwood and clary sage. Intricate ikebana floral arrangements, inspired by the rhythm of the seasons, provide a backdrop to this otherworldly space. Sip our seasonal tea blend or crystal-infused water and let your journey begin. The space, designed by interior architect André Fu, is inspired by his own visits to traditional Japanese temples and Zen gardens in Kyoto, with a use of natural elements such as limestone, wood and water.

Meeting & Conference Facilities

Claridge's offers a choice of five banqueting rooms and newly created private rooms, all with state-of-the-art audio-visual and communications equipment.

• The Boardroom, The Clarence, The St. James's and The Kensington provide the ideal setting for cocktail parties, private dining, receptions and meetings, for as few as fourteen to a maximum of eighty guests.
• The Ballroom - accommodates 240 for lunch or dinner and 400 for a reception.
• The French Salon - accommodates 20 - 84 for lunch or dinner and 120 for a reception.
• The Drawing Room - accommodates 20 – 96 for a lunch or dinner and 150 for reception.
• The Windsor Room, Highgrove Room, Buckingham and the Boardroom - accommodates from 5 - 30 for board meetings and private dinners.

For many, The Foyer is where the magic of Claridge's begins. This elegant space has long been the setting for unforgettable moments, from leisurely breakfasts to exquisite Afternoon Teas - a time-honoured tradition served with impeccable grace. Beneath a striking Chihuly sculpture, original art deco mirrors shimmer, reflecting the gentle notes of the grand piano. Here, history and innovation meet, with classic cocktails reimagined and fine dining elevated.

Restaurant

After a celebrated residency, the New York institution, Dante, finds its permanent London home. A mainstay of the Greenwich Village dining scene since 1915, Dante now brings Manhattan's inimitable character to Claridge's storied walls. With acclaimed restauranteurs Linden Pride and Nathalie Hudson at the helm, two legendary destinations unite to create a new, distinctly welcoming Mayfair gathering place. Whether over morning coffee on the outdoor terrace, a long lunch or aperitivi that drift into dinner, Dante Mayfair honours the simple pleasure of coming together at the table. With award-winning cocktails, seasonal dishes and soulful live music, the neighbourhood spirit of Dante that has been cultivated for generations across the pond now has a Davies Street address.

Claridge's Spa is a 7,000 square foot subterranean sanctuary, where modern wellness is met with the same, exceptional artistry and innovation that has defined the hotel for centuries.

Wine Cellar

Nestled on the lower ground floor of the hotel, Claridge's Wine Cellar is a sublime sanctuary for wine lovers. Home to over 800 wines and champagnes, sourced from the world's greatest winemakers and suppliers, this meticulous curation is the work of Emma Denney, Claridge's Director of Wine. Spirits have been handpicked by George Raju, Claridge's Director of Bars.
