Hawaiian & Polynesian Dream vacation
January
Pros: The tours were great. Loved the food in the dining room & speciality restaurants.
Cons: Wished there were more specialty restaurants. Needed more lounge chairs on the promenade decks.
Recommended: Yes
There needs to be an evaluation system for each tour. Also the level of mobility is not always true for the tours.
Staff were outstanding and wonderful to be around.
Clean & happy environment on the ship.
Small ship
October
Pros: Smaller size allows you to meet other guests; smaller size allows for personalized services
Cons: Pricey; later port times made for rushed and unpleasant excursions
Recommended: Yes
We loved this cruise. The crew was was wonderful. The only downside to this trip was the later port times. We were rushed to get through tours and in some cases things were closed or it was dark so you couldn’t see what guides were telling you about.
Fair
September
Pros: beautiful ship, service was superb,
Cons: showers very small, no port talks, not enough info about what to do
Recommended: Yes
Would have given up the industrial ports with not much to see for more time in N.S, and Quebec and Montreal
Oceania’s decline
May
Pros: Not much
Cons: Food quality, quantity and variety; no special events onboard; short staff; poorly trained staff
Recommended: No
Oceania used to be my “go to” cruise line for the finest cuisine at sea and wonderful ships and itineraries. But no more. In spite of increasing fares and fees, it has significantly cut corners everywhere. The finest cuisine at sea is now no better than any other cruise line. Food quality has degraded significantly—all the beef served was tough, even filets. Variety has decreased —fewer choices and cheaper cuts of meat. Also of note is the fact that no special culinary events were put on—no buffets, no cooking demonstrations. My cruise occurred over Mother’s Day and absolutely nothing was done in recognition of the day. There was not even mention of the day in the Daily Currents bulletin. And the ship (Nautica) is in decline—My cabin had no hot water in the wash basin sink and it was never repaired despite numerous complaints—three times to the Hotel Manager himself. And there was mold in my shower. In the past, I willingly paid a premium price for Oceania’s premium product, but the premium product is gone, on top of their increased prices. The value is gone and I’m moving on.
Great cruise
March
Pros: The destinations and shore excursions; the comfort of the ship & stateroom; the staff; activities and O Points with gifts; the spa treatments
Cons: Too formal dress code (prefer more casual); stateroom did not have ventilation; dinner and shows start too late; medical cost too high for services
Recommended: Yes
The itinerary was excellent and the shore excursions were very well done. The places we saw and the tours were incredible. The staff on the ship and especially the spa and our butler were excellent, although the products that the spa sells were excellent but too expensive. The stateroom was very comfortable but had a few things that needed to be improved. We unfortunately missed several ports of call because of weather but understand this can happen. We will book a larger stateroom for a trip of this length again. We are strongly considering several additional Oceania cruises that are offered in 2025. Overall we had a wonderful experience on this exceptional vacation.

October
Pros: Seamless and we'll taken care of for every need. Amazing
Cons: Venice as one of the itineraries was not as advertised. The port we were in and standing in a line to get to Venice was almost two hours and that would not include actually getting on to the island. I actually gave up. That was a disappointment.

I have cruised on beautiful Oceiana four times with another Transatlantic
in March 2024. As a solo traveler the solo cabins were a great idea and very well appreciated indeed. Thankyou for considering a true need in the cruise industry. I do wish the the single supplement was not so high.
A Timely Getaway
October
Pros: Comfortable suite, butler and maid were great and very friendly and extremely competent. The cruise was very smooth and the ship was easy to navigate. Food was excellent especially the Toscana. Also the wine tasting were fun and informative.
Cons: We overdid the tours. Doing one every day was too much but that was our election.
Recommended: Yes
Overall excellent trip and the service and entertainment was well done.
Don’s review.
July

Adriatic and Aegean Cruise
May
Pros: excellent service, elegant vessel, fine dining
Cons: some excursions cancelled, poor flight schedules
Recommended: Yes
Crew went above and beyond in meeting our needs. Waiters knew our names and remembered our preferred beverage choices. Room service was exceptional. They catered to our daily needs such as helping with medical needs and replacing broken hairdryers by us.

Traveling the Less Traveled Area
December
Pros: Oceania treated us well & made sure we stayed safe.
Cons: I didnot care for the late evening programs & then setting the alarm to be in the Nautical Lounge at 8a.m.
Recommended: Yes
The house cleaning group was wonderful & very thorough. They changed towels 3 times a day. For my birthday, they decorated the cabin with balloons on the ceiling. They took care of my laundry delivery. They were always cheerful.
I love cruising
September
Pros: Service and food
Cons: Weather
Recommended: No
The ship is just the right size. The food was excellent and the variety superb.
Our stateroom was roomy, with comfortable mattress and linens. We couldn’t have asked for a better room steward.
Nautica Cruise of Western Mediterrainian, Southern Spain, NW African Island, and Portugal.
May
Pros: Weather, Ship, Food, Side trips, Crew, travel companions, all great!

Very good cruise line.
Mediterranean Mosaic
October
Pros: Small ship with under 700 guests. Didn't feel herded around on tours. Food was the best we've had ever and have been on more than 10 cruises
Cons: Return Airline connections through Oceans were cumbersome with minimal time to get to the next gate. Spent my travel time on the wsy home running to the next gate almost missing the last last flight to my final destination. All the stress of one day has erased all the good memories.
Recommended: Yes
We were met at the airport on arrival and taken to the hotel making arrival easy. Departure was problematic. Would recommend having representative at the airport for smooth departures.
Great Itinerary

Pros: Small ship, excellent service, friendly staff.
Cons: None

Overall excellent experience, a few of excursions were not what we expected mostly due to not allowing enough time to
Hosting Oceania Nautica, June 1, 2017
June
Pros: The food was great and the instructor in the Canyon Ranch spa was terrific.
Cons: The alcoholic drinks were expensive and they pushed the drink of the day in the morning briefing, and in the daily guide. They also advertised the cost of their wine packages and the happy hours.
Recommended: No
This was my first experience sailing on Oceania. I was in stateroom 4000. The cabin was nicely appointed but the storage space was minimal. We kept losing things and even found a prior guest's bathing suit in one of the high shelves. The service was really quite good and some of the staff was outstanding. I liked the fact that the evening entertainment started at 9:30pm and I was pleasantly surprised that the shows were quite good.
I thought that their way of selling alcoholic beverages was tacky.
Singapore/Hong Kong
February
Pros: Ships staff has become more Philippino/Thai. Much more accomadating than typical E Euro staff
Cons: Ship is worn out, lots of little problems . Tours need to be monitored
Recommended: Yes
As usual laundry room, tv/internet created most of problems. But that will never change. Oceania continues to ignore these issues, but they continue to sell out in spite of it. These are just the minor anoyances, overall still excellent.
Cruise director not very good, when bad weather occurred you would expect
A variety of things to do....nope
Se Asia: Grand Excursion on Oceania
February
Pros: Small ship (650 passengers), great food, very good excursions on land
Cons: Small ship buffeted by waves for 2 nights (but we can't control weather!)
Recommended: Yes
Really enjoyed the itinerary to five countries. Well-maintained ship. Great staff, very friendly with excellent service.Very good restaurants.
great itinerary
November
Pros: Service provided, appearance of ship, attention to details
Cons: Excursions
Recommended: Yes
Cruising isnt for me but if you do it, Oceania is an exellent company and this was a great itinerary except,.......the excursions were pricey and fell short on accuracy of descriptions, crowds of tourists, and time wasted. best to make own arrangements either ahead of time or right when you get off the ship.
Facilities were clean, food plentiful, and many iteresting lectures. if i choose to ever cruise again, i would consider Oceania first.
London to London on Oceania Nautical
July
Pros: Good food, clean, well run ship, interesting ports of call.
Cons: Bad tour in Quqortoq,Greenland. Got a refund. Senile tour guide in Belfast. Tour itself was fine. All other tours were great.
Recommended: Yes
I enjoyed the tour. We had a good speaker for the lectures. Prince Kristian Sound was a highlight. We booked another tour onboard for next fall.
South African Explorer Nov-Dec 2015
December
Pros: Food, ports of call, staff
Cons: Oceania sponsored excursions, cost of Internet
Recommended: Yes
We really ejoyed the pre-cruise and cruise itself. This was our second Oceania cruise, this time on the smaller Nautica. Food is excellent, and the staff ever so friendly and attentive. There were not that many sea days, but the entertainment (afternoon trivia and speakers) kept us busy.
Best part was the ports of call (okay, Maputo Mozambique was below expectations) were the highlight. Sad to say, we enjoyed the tours we booked privately much more so than the ones through Oceania, which are overpriced for sure. BUT, we know that don't we?
Highly recommend!!
Lovely smaller ship
November
Pros: Excellent food, well trained staff, decent entertainment.
Cons: Smaller ship = rougher seas. Overpriced excursions..
Recommended: No
Overall the dining was very good but unfortunately it was inconsistent. The shore excursions were overpriced for what was on offer. We found we could hire a taxi in any of the port stops and have them duplicate the itinerary at 1/3 to 1/4 the Oceania price.
Europe 2015
September
Pros:
Cons:

The best service we have had on any of our 13 cruises. Excellent food and good variety. Head waiter, Francisco, waiter, Jose, and assistant waiter,Ai, and head waiter/hostess,Sylvia made our cruise memorial event. All these people knew our names after the first night's dining. Very special and Oceania should recognize each of them.
Wonderful trip
October
Pros: great staff, service, food.
Cons: Ability to make reservations in specialty restaurants was a chore and information imparted was changeable. We wanted to dine with our friends on trip.
Recommended: Yes
All in all a great experience. Entertainment was okay. could use improvement.
Treasures of Scandinavia
August
Pros: Great cuisine, ambiance and service.
Cons: Destination services did not give enough specifics about shore excursions. Those marked
Recommended: Yes
Oceania and Regent have just be sold to NCL. Concern that the quality of these lines may be compromised in the future.
Outstanding Cruise Ship Nautica
August
Pros:
Cons:
Recommended: Yes
With only 684 guests, this ship is just the right size for getting to know other travelers and for getting into tight spaces. Staff is among the best and the food is top flight.
Viking Odyssey
July
Pros: size of ship, quality of food & onboard service
Cons: some of the ports
Recommended: Yes
The stop at port the in Tasiilak, Greenland could be eliminated. You could have another day at sea or add an overnight stay in Belfast or Dublin.
We were impressed with the chef using some of the local seafood in the different ports. One of the reasons we booked with Oceania was because of the food selection & ambiance.
